Uclan Games Student Designs Summer Reading Scheme Characters For The SCART Club With Lancs County Council.

We're really proud to be able to show you all a little bit of what Uclan Games Design student, Heather Holden worked on a few months ago.
Heather entered a competition with Lancashire County Council to design their Summer Reading Scheme characters for The SCART Club and she won!

The scheme is aimed at 5-12 year olds and is at all Lancashire libraries.
Heather's art work is published across all the promotional material and included in the booklet provided when children sign up.
Heather said,
"It's been one of the greatest experiences I've had, and I'm so so proud to be able to finally share it.
If you have young kids it's a great way to keep them entertained this summer!"

The scheme launches on Saturday 30th June 2018 and  more information it can be found at the following link:

Since winning this competition, Heather has had the privilege to visit a local primary school to talk about the SCART Club and about what being a Games Design student is like. It was a great experience to interact with the children who had amazing questions and made her feel incredibly welcome. They made her promise if she ever became a famous designer to remember them. Shoutout to St Wilfrid's Primary School Year 6 of 2018 - awesome!
